With everyone worked up about the upcoming Toyota Prius Hybrid it’s no wonder that ears are perking up at the rumors of Toyota coming out with a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Toyota’s could be described as the hybrid technology front runner and a RAV4 Hybrid might be just the ticket to take their lead to the next level. And a RAV4 Hybrid doesn’t sound too extreme considering that Toyota has stated on several occasions that they intend to make a hybrid version of every single model of Toyota vehicle.

Talk about the RAV4 came up at the Shanghai Motor Show when the Toyota manager of hybrid systems, Koei Saga, should be available in the Chinese market “as soon as possible.” The next step from there would likely be into other markets like the US.
