I wonder why people feel compelled or are motivated to speak negatively about such an amazing new product. No, Toyota does not have this already. I am actively looking to buy a new vehicle. The Toyota Hybrids I tested did not look as nice as this vehicle. If what Aaron says is true I'm sold.

Fuel will surely spike again. Environment be dammed, the cost in fuel savings are enough for me to pay a premium for this machine. Think about how much you pay in fuel per month. Translate that into vehicle payment and you are still ahead vs a gas guzzler Toyota, Lexus, even Honda.

I drive a V8 Toyota 4 Runner Limited that got twice the fuel economy of the Chevy Trailblazer with an inline six, and it was a total lemon.

That is what put Chevy in the can. I really want to buy American again. Please Chevy, make me love you like I did when I happily drove my C10 column shifter truck.

We have all been reamed by the petroleum companies for generations. Please put some positive thoughts and words in for fuel efficiency and alternative transportation.

The Volt goes 40 miles on an Electric charge then 180 miles on 1 gallon of gas giving it a grand total of 243 miles per gallon. Beat that. Oh yeah i belive they just came up with this over the last 3 years instead of 40 or 50 years.
Anyways

This car is going to be the new US YUGO. What a piece of crap. Only seats four, $40 K ! Wow, Government Motors is really building a car not too many people will want. This is not going to happen. We need to go nuke if we are going to be able to support all these electric cars that are coming out. Only 40mile range. The engine requires high test fuel also, not a good move for GM. What is the big stink about this car, Toyota has this already.
