It’s called the BMW Vision, and it’s a car not only looks like it flew from another planet, it’s a car that has an ultra-efficient turbo-diesel engine and two electric motors. This ultra eco-concept that could make it the greenest sports car since the super pricey Tesla Roadster. Tthe 400 mile range makes the Vision a little more practical than the Roadster.

The Vision’s plug-in system can drive the vehicle for 30 miles on a 2.5 hour charge. The 1.5 liter turbo-diesel engine is also supremely eco-friendly, and its position over the rear axle allows for a low front-end, which decreases drag significantly.
